Mesir dan BRICS: Analisis Kepentingan Ekonomi Nasional di Era Presiden El-Sisi
Abstract
Artikel ini menganalisis bagaimana keanggotaan Mesir dalam BRICS mendukung kepentingan ekonomi nasional di era Presiden Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. Abad ke-21 ditandai oleh pergeseran kekuatan ekonomi global dari Barat ke negara berkembang, dengan BRICS (Brasil, Rusia, India, China, dan Afrika Selatan) sebagai blok ekonomi berpengaruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rational Choice Theory (Snidal, 2013) dan metode kualitatif berbasis data sekunder, termasuk literatur akademik, dokumen kebijakan, dan laporan lembaga internasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa keanggotaan Mesir dalam BRICS membuka akses terhadap investasi, teknologi, perdagangan, dan pembiayaan alternatif melalui New Development Bank (NDB). Posisi strategis Terusan Suez memungkinkan diversifikasi ekonomi, pembangunan infrastruktur, dan penguatan sektor pariwisata. Strategi ini sejalan dengan Visi 2030 Mesir dan prioritas el-Sisi untuk meningkatkan stabilitas ekonomi dan kemandirian nasional. Integrasi dalam BRICS memperluas kerja sama Selatan-Selatan, memperkuat jaringan perdagangan dan investasi, serta meningkatkan kapasitas ekonomi dan pengaruh geopolitik Mesir di Afrika, Timur Tengah, dan pasar global.
